Bigg Boss Telugu 9, week by week: who kept landing on the nominations board

Bigg Boss Telugu 9 ran from 6 September to 21 December 2025 with a cast of 22. Over the fifteen voting weeks it placed 104 names on the nominations board, and something happened that is rarer than it sounds: every single contestant was nominated at least once. Nobody coasted.
We hold the nominations for all fifteen weeks, so the season can be read as a record rather than a memory.

The thing this table gives away
Sanjjanaa Galrani was nominated 12 times across fifteen weeks - nominated in four weeks out of every five - and still finished #5. Surviving that many public votes is not luck. It is a contestant the house wanted gone and the audience did not.
Then look at the winner. Kalyan Padala was nominated 8 times and won every one of them. A contestant who is never nominated has been protected by the house; a contestant nominated 8 times and still standing at the finale has been chosen by the audience, repeatedly, against the house's wishes.
That is the argument for why the nomination count is a better story than the elimination order. The elimination order tells you who left. The nomination count tells you who was under pressure the whole way and did not break.
How the season finished
Kalyan Padala took the title on 21 December 2025 with ₹35 lakh and a car, the first commoner to win the Telugu edition. Thanuja Puttaswamy finished second and Demon Pavan completed the podium.
Two of those three came into the house through Bigg Boss Agnipariksha, the commoner pre-show - which is the context in which season two of that pre-show starts on 15 August 2026.
