Bigg Boss Telugu has run for nine seasons since 2017 and produced nine winners. Eight of them were people the audience already knew - actors, singers, television faces. The ninth was not, and that is the most interesting thing about this list.

Three hosts in nine seasons
Jr. NTR launched the show in 2017 and hosted season one only. Nani took season two in 2018. From season three onwards it has been Akkineni Nagarjuna, who has now hosted seven consecutive seasons and returns for season ten.
The handovers are worth remembering because they mark distinct eras. Jr. NTR's season was a sixteen-contestant experiment nobody was sure would work. By Nagarjuna's tenure the cast had grown past twenty and the show had become the anchor of the Telugu television calendar.
The season that broke the pattern
For eight seasons the winner was a known name. Kalyan Padala was not. He entered through Bigg Boss Agnipariksha, the commoner selection pre-show, and on 21 December 2025 he walked out with the trophy, ₹35 lakh and a car - the first commoner to win the Telugu edition.
Thanuja Puttaswamy finished second. Demon Pavan also came through Agnipariksha, which put two pre-show contestants in the top three.
Whether that becomes a trend or stays an outlier is the open question going into season ten.
