Qazi Touqeer is a singer, performer and actor from Srinagar, Jammu and Kashmir. He became a national television name in 2005 when the public voted him and Ruprekha Banerjee the winning Fame Jodi on Fame Gurukul. The pair subsequently released the album Yeh Pal. More than two decades after that reality-show breakthrough, Qazi returned to the format as a Bigg Boss 20 contestant.
